About the August 2025 Program
These five works by Atlanta-based artists offer intimate reflections on how we move through the world emotionally, physically, and imaginatively. Some pieces look to memory and personal history, while others find comfort in sweetness, nature, or the beauty of the mundane. The works evoke a softness that invites viewers to sit with the small moments that shape us, connecting two cities through shared experience. The Atlanta Downtown Art & Activation program works to enhance the cultural identity, vibrancy, and inclusivity of Downtown Atlanta by supporting artists, activating public spaces, and fostering a sustainable creative ecosystem.
